MMA Round Timer

A five-minute round changes the job — pacing matters as much as output. This preset runs three of them, a minute apart, exactly the shape of a non-title MMA bout, and the clock reads 17:00 when the final round closes.

Five minutes is enough room to mix disciplines inside a single round — strike, shoot, grapple, get back up. Use it for sparring at bout length or for drilling sequences until they hold up under fatigue. When the session calls for more or fewer rounds, open the preset in the editor and set the count yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the MMA round timer?
17:00 total — three five-minute rounds separated by one-minute breaks, finishing as the third round ends rather than after a final break.
Why five-minute rounds?
Non-title MMA bouts are fought over three five-minute rounds, so this is the clock your conditioning has to answer to. Five minutes also leaves room for the grappling exchanges that shorter rounds cut off.
Can I use this for drilling instead of sparring?
Yes. Pick one sequence per round — a takedown entry, a combination into the clinch — and repeat it for the full five minutes. The break gives you time for partner feedback before the next round.
