15-Minute EMOM Timer

A 15-minute EMOM: fifteen one-minute rounds, one after another. At the top of each minute the timer calls the round; you do your work and rest on whatever time is left before the next one begins.

It sits between the ten- and twenty-minute pieces — half again the volume of the standard ten without the full commitment of twenty, which makes it a common pick for a single-movement grind or a two- or three-movement rotation. Choose a per-minute workload you can hold for all fifteen rounds, and use the editor to change the round count or length.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does a 15-minute EMOM work?
Fifteen rounds, one a minute, back to back. When the timer calls the round you start your work; whatever is left of the minute is your rest before the next round begins.
What can I do in a 15-minute EMOM?
Hold one movement for all fifteen rounds, or rotate two or three minute by minute — a pull on the odd minutes and a push on the even, say. Fifteen rounds is enough for a single movement to add up, and varied enough to spread the load if you alternate.
Is 15 minutes a good EMOM length?
It is a popular middle ground — more work than the 10-minute EMOM without the conditioning demand of the 20-minute. Pick a workload you could still repeat on round fifteen, and step up to twenty once it feels comfortable.
