Pigeon Pose Timer

Three one-minute holds of pigeon on the left, then three on the right, then three rounds of lizard lunge. Holds within a block are separated by 30-second releases, 45 seconds covers the switch between blocks, and a one-minute warmup and cooldown bring the session to 15:30.

Finishing every round of one stretch before moving on is deliberate: by the third visit to the same shape, you start from where the previous hold left off rather than from cold. Treat the releases as genuine breaks — shake out, then return. If three rounds per stretch is too many to begin with, drop one in the editor.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the pigeon density session?
15:30 total — nine one-minute holds grouped into three blocks, with releases inside each block, switches between blocks, and a minute of warmup and cooldown.
Why three rounds of the same stretch in a row?
Repeated visits let you ease a little further each round instead of forcing depth on the first attempt. The 30-second release is enough to reset without losing the ground you’ve gained.
Does lizard lunge get a left and right side?
Yes, within its block — split the three rounds between sides, alternating each round and giving the tighter side the extra one.
