Burpee Interval Timer

Six rounds of burpees at 30 seconds of work to 45 seconds of rest, with a 90-second warmup and cooldown on either side — 9:45 in total.

The rest deliberately outweighs the work. That ratio exists so every round can be genuinely fast: treat each 30-second bout as its own sprint, spend the full 45 breathing, and round six should look like round one instead of a slow-motion grind. As the sessions get easier, open the preset in the editor and trim the rest before you add rounds.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long are the burpee intervals?
9:45 in total, with a longer-than-usual 90 seconds of warmup and cooldown at each end — burpees reward the extra preparation.
Why is the rest longer than the work?
To keep the work fast. Thirty seconds of quick burpees with 45 to recover means round six can match round one; with equal rest the back half turns into a grind.
How many burpees should I do per round?
However many you can repeat six times. Count your first round and hold that number — if it collapses, you opened too hot.
